As the storm rolled in, I peered down from one of the many monoliths in the big city. What started out as a bright and sunny day quickly turned into a dark and gloomy setting. Down below, its citizens were undaunted. With umbrellas clutched over them, I could almost hear the pitter-patter of their footsteps as they hopped over puddles and went about their business amongst the sounds of honking cabs splashing in the streets. I couldn’t help but marvel at how New York’s spirit can be inspiring, even in its darkest days.
Throughout his career, Michael has focused on marrying his two biggest passions in life, travel and photography. He has a tremendous respect for capturing the essence of each destination and with the use of advanced post-processing techniques, he is able to envelope his viewers in the simple, everyday moments often not captured on camera.
